4th
Floor Stearns
Freshman year was filled with new adventures, not the least of which was
learning to live with many very different people. I was lucky (even
though I didn't think so at first). This is my small tribute to a
wonderful Freshman floor...
This is the view from the 4th Floor co-ed bathroom.
Why, who
is this handsome trio? Many thanks to the housing committee for their
tremendous talents at random selection. We're it not for them, I
never would have met either of my wacky roommates in Stearns 405.
When you
entered our room, you would likely find Andrew hunched like this attempting
to be studious. Oh, look! To the right you can see our message
board where I used to write new a Deep Thought each day; and on the back
wall you'll find Emiliano's Jane's Addiction Poster poised to shock all
those who entered. Speaking of Emiliano...
...you
would often find him listening to his loud stereo while Andrew was trying
to work. Here, we catch him in a rare moment as he conducts along
in my comfy chair. Say, that's a pretty neat fire phone above his
head. I wonder whose that could be...
But let's face it, much (if not most) of my time was spent, here, in room
408. Ingrid is working hard on a paper and demonstrating just how
surprisingly happy you can be in a two room triple in Stearns. In
the back, you can see Anne's computer, to whom I owe much gratitude for
its use (I shutter to think what would have come of all those labs and
papers, had I only had access to the computer center).
Here she is, now, giving us all a big kiss.
Known to most as Annie but known to me as Legs (at her request), she has
yet to make good on her promise to room with Andrew and me.
MORE TO COME...
But until then, I know you want to RETURN
to the main page.
